CHAMPION jockey Raddesh “Sneaky Fox” Roman stole the show at Caymanas Park on Sunday by riding three winners, including his milestone 300th career victory.

Roman achieved this feat aboard Queen Latepha, the Gregg Fennell-conditioned filly, in the sixth race, a maiden special weight contest for native-bred three-year-old fillies.

The three-year-old bay filly dominated the competition, winning by 8½ lengths in impressive style to complete the six-furlong (1,200m) distance in 1:16.0.

Roman’s began with a win on Storm for trainer Carlton Cunningham in the fifth race, setting the platform for a memorable day. He then completed the hat-trick aboard Final Load for trainer Winchester McIntosh in the seventh race.

The milestone highlights Roman’s exceptional skill, dedication, and experience in the horse racing industry. His ability to partner with horses and trainers to achieve success is a testament to his talent. Meanwhile, Sensational Soul and Social Aviator stalked their credentials well for the upcoming classic races with impressive wins in The Kingston and The Portmore, the final legs on the ‘Road to the Triple’ for native-bred three-year-olds. Both races were run over seven and half furlongs (1,500m) for similar purses of $4 million.

In The Kingston, Sensational Soul, trained by Gary Subratie and ridden by Shane Ellis, got up in time to beat Runaway Star (Raddesh Roman) on the wire by half-length in 1:35.1 (24.1 x 47.3 x 1:14.4 x 1:28.2).

Trained by Jason DaCosta and ridden by Robert Halledeedn, Social Aviator got ahead in the nick of time to beat Burning Hedge (Phillip Parchment) in The Portmore by a neck in 1:35.1 (24.0 x 47.2 x 1:14.3 x 1:28.3).

Horse racing at the park is to continue on Saturday.
