I left Jamaica on August 26, 2024. I reached out to the Flow store at Sovereign Centre in Portmore and advised them to disconnect my Internet service on September 1, 2024.

I had a credit balance at Flow and spoke with them on WhatsApp because I am still off the island. They requested my banking information to transfer the amount and then I was sent a text to pick up the cheque at Bill Express. I sent a notarised letter to someone authorising them to collect on my behalf.

However, when my representative took the letter to Flow they told her that I needed to get in touch with the company because they don’t do cheques. After that I got another text, and when I contacted Flow and told them that I submitted my banking information I was told that the cheque was already sent so they were not going to do the transfer. I have to date not got the refund and am requesting your help to get it.

“Thanks for bringing this matter to our attention. It is the company’s policy that customers who have credit balances resulting from disconnections, rebates, or deposits, that these are refunded via Bill Express. Our checks show that the funds have been available for collection since February 2025 and will expire after six months.

If CT is unable to collect the funds personally, she has the option of appointing someone to collect on her behalf by sending us a letter of authorisation and providing the IDs and TRNs for both parties to Jam-refundrequest@cwc.com.”
