JEVOHNTAE Gordon scored a hat-trick as hosts Manchester High beat May Day High 5-0 in the ISSA daCosta Cup Zone F game on Saturday to race to their third-straight win of the season.

Michael Reid and Deante Walker were also on the scoresheet as Manchester High improved their tally to 16 goals in three games. They are yet to concede a goal.

Alphansus Davis High, Christiana High, Maldon High and Ocho Rios also won three in a row.

Alphansus Davis High blanked Alston High 4-0, with Fankie Derby scoring a double and Devaughn Higgins and Devoy Johnson adding the other goals.

Christiana High edged Bellefield High 1-0 as both stayed locked in the lead in Zone G on nine points each.

Ocho Rios High scored a big 8-0 win over Discovery Bay High to stay on top of the table in Zone K.

Maldon High extended their perfect winning run by hammering Herbert Morrison Technical 5-0. Maldon’s nine points from three matches represent their best start ever to a season.

Defending champions Garvey Maceo Technical and highly regarded Glenmuir High secured back-to-back wins in getting the better of Vere Technical and Denbigh High, respectively, in Zone I.

Garvey Maceo High won 2-1, with Omarion O’Brian scoring in the seventh minute and Daniel Scott in the 38th minute. Dushane Dennis scored for Vere in the 62nd minute.

Glenmuir High followed up their 13-0 win over Bustamante High on Wednesday with a 3-0 win over Denbigh.

Bustamante High rebounded from the lopsided loss to beat Winston Jones High 3-0.

Alex Hutton scored both goals as William Knibb Memorial edged Spot Valley High 2-1 to record to two-straight wins.

Old Harbour High also won back-to-back games, edging Dinthill Technical 1-0 in their Zone J game to join McGrath High on six points.

Former champions Rusea’s High and Frome Technical were both held to 1-1 results in their Zone B outings.

At Jarrett Park, Wayne Mullings gave Frome the lead in the 36th minute but Cambridge High salvaged a point after Jayr Moore buried a penalty in the 89th minute.

Rusea’s High were held away to Green Island High.

Carlondo Morris got his second hat-trick of the season as Cornwall College beat Irwin High 7-0 and the former champions rebounded from their midweek 0-0 stalemate against St James High.

Nickane Brown scored two goals and Mekhi Foster also scored. Cornwall also found the net via an own goal.

Ben Francis Cup holders St Elizabeth Technical High School were held to a 0-0 result for the second-straight game, this time at home to BB Coke High who had won their two opening games.
