RIP, Michael Mattis
The Supreme Racing Guide, a publication of the Jamaica Observer, is saddened to announce the recent passing of former trainer Michael Mattis.
As the son of the legendary Hall of Fame inductee and multiple-time champion trainer Kenneth Mattis, Michael had already made a name for himself in the racing world.
Michael’s career took him from Jamaica to the United States, where he continued to leave his mark on the sport. His contributions to horse racing will not be forgotten, and his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
