Frazsiers Whip punish Real MoBay 8-1
Three-time defending champions Frazsiers Whip recorded a fifth-straight win by beating Real MoBay 8-1 in their Zone B first-round Jamaica Women’s Premier League game at Jarrett Park on Saturday.
Christina Salmon scored four times and Shanel Spence added a hat-trick for Frazsiers Whip, while Danischa Rattray scored the other goal. The win took the champions to 15 points, while Real MoBay are still waiting for their first point, with Janielle White scoring a consolation in the 61st minute.
Los Perfectos stayed in second place with a 6-1 win over Springers United, their fourth-consecutive win. Venicia Reid scored a hat-trick, with Tanesia Vassell, Jully-Ann Howard, and Adrianna Morris also on the scoresheet. Trishelle Thorpe scored Springers United’s lone goal.
In Zone A, leaders Arnett Gardens rebounded with a 1-0 win over Proven Girls, with Sade Berry scoring in the seventh minute. Cavalier remained in second place after beating Real Mona 1-0, with Deshanna Cole scoring in the 69th minute.
In other Saturday games, an own goal in the 85th minute gave WiFi United a 1-0 win over UWI Women, while Federal United also won 1-0 against Mile Gully, Adriana Hall scoring the winner in the 49th minute.
