Liberty Business partners with Jill Stewart MoBay City Run to advance educational recovery in western Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica—Liberty Business has joined the Jill Stewart MoBay City Run as an official sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to collaboration, community upliftment and the long-term development of western Jamaica.
MoBay City Run is set for Sunday, May 3 at Harmony Beach Park in Montego Bay. The landmark event has become one of Jamaica’s most anticipated charity road races, raising funds over the years to support philanthropic initiatives across the island.
This year’s staging will direct proceeds toward educational recovery for schools in the west damaged by Hurricane Melissa, helping students and teachers rebuild stronger.
“Western Jamaica is a dynamic and important part of our national economy, powered by hardworking people, vibrant communities and tremendous potential,” said Charles Manus, senior director, Liberty Business. “We are proud to support the Jill Stewart MoBay City Run because it represents the very best of Jamaica—people coming together to solve challenges, restore hope and invest in the future of our children.”
Liberty Business noted that access to education remains one of the most powerful drivers of economic mobility and national progress. Supporting the restoration of damaged schools will help ensure students have safe spaces to learn, develop critical skills and contribute to the economic development of their communities.
The company also praised the organisers of the Jill Stewart MoBay City Run for creating a platform that consistently transforms collective goodwill into real impact for families across the west.
As race day approaches, Liberty Business is encouraging Jamaicans to participate, donate and show solidarity with schools and students working to recover from the hurricane’s effects.
