‘Scotiabankers’ invade more than 20 schools
SCOTIABANKERS across Jamaica turned the page on possibility this Read Across Jamaica Day, visiting more than 20 primary schools to inspire a love of reading among young learners.
Team members engaged students across all grade levels, sharing stories and sparking meaningful conversations about the power and joy of reading.
Among the Scotiabankers who invaded the schools were president and CEO of Scotia Group and chairperson of the Scotia Foundation Audrey Tugwell Henry, who joined in bringing stories to life for eager students.
The islandwide initiative, organised by the Scotia Foundation, featured a range of engaging titles, including works by renowned Jamaican orator and poet Dr Amina Blackwood Meeks.
Through these efforts, Scotia Group continues to champion literacy and learning, helping to shape brighter futures, one story at a time.
