HTHS fêtes Gold Club 2026 inductees
Recently, Holy Trinity High School (HTHS) feted a new cohort of Gold Club students at its 2026 appreciation lunch. Held at the exquisite ROK Hotel on King Street, downtown Kingston, the institution celebrated the remarkable achievements of students who have demonstrated academic excellence.
This event featured honours for 27 students who achieved an average of over 80 per cent in the semester’s work, earning them membership in the Gold Club.
The event commenced with an inspiring speech by the
Principal, Rev Fr Carl F Clarke beamed with pride in the students achievement and hailed them for their dedication and hard work that earned them a place in the Gold Club. He reminisced about the inception of the academic clubs five years ago and acknowledged the fervour of those who have made the mark.
Among the honoured students, four have achieved this status at least three times consecutively.
The students were filled with excitement as they feasted on the hotel’s fare and collected their certificates on being recognised.
Vice-chairman of the board of management Marlon Campbell, offering some inspiration, delivered a passionate and interactive message to the students. He urged them to become agents of change for their friends and classmates, referring to them as “Generation Change”.
Among those who contributed to the success of the event were Neil Passley and family, Anthony Dodds and wife Catherine, and Richie Nebar.
