Armanii garners 3 noms at 2026 Caribbean Music Awards
Rising dancehall star Armanii earned three nominations at the 2026 Caribbean Music Awards.
The young artiste is up for awards in the categories Dancehall Album of the Year for THE IMPACT, Dancehall Song of the Year B.B.B (Snapchat), and Male Dancehall Artist Of the Year
Armanii’s three nominations follow his success at last year’s Caribbean Music Awards, at which he won the Dancehall Impact Award and notched a nomination for Best New Artist.
Armanii continues the momentum from his breakout 2025, highlighted by his debut album THE IMPACT. Released in December, the album was a major chart success, reaching #1 on the US iTunes Reggae Chart and #1 on the US Apple Music Reggae Chart and #8 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. THE IMPACT also earned critical acclaim, placing at #8 on Billboard’s 10 Best Caribbean Albums of 2025.
Home to hit singles like B.B.B. (Snapchat) and 8:00 PM, and appearances from heavy-hitters like Jada Kingdom and Bay Swag, THE IMPACT established Armanii as a force on the global music scene. In March, Armanii dropped
THE IMPACT (Deluxe): PGLA Edition, adding four new songs.
Armanii is currently surging behind WUL UP, his latest single. A collaboration with renowned dancehall producer NOTNICE, WUL UP layers Armanii’s rich and melodic vocals over a muscular rhytjm, eschewing international influences to create a banger that is Kingston to its core. With over 1.5 million combined streams since its official release on May 23, WUL UP is on track to shut down club nights and soundclashes.
Even with over 330 million lifetime streams and 1.3 million followers across all platforms, the young artiste is just getting started.
He is set for Bikini Palooza in NYC on July 5.
Voting for the Caribbean Music Awards is now open and will remain open through Monday, August 10.
