DJ Zacky launches SATDEHZ

With the aim of bringing diversity to the weekend entertainment offerings, while creating an exciting and consistent nightlife experience for partygoers, popular disc jock and event promoter DJ Zacky launched the series SATDEHZ on June 13.

The series, which targets college and university students as well as young business professionals, will be held every other Saturday at Oceano, Marketplace, on Constant Spring Road.

SATDEHZ is a joint venture with partners Dillon Coote and Dejaun Levene.

In an interview with the Jamaica Observer’s Splash earlier this week, DJ Zacky was upbeat about the positive response from patrons as it relates to the first staging of the drink-inclusive event.

“I’ve always wanted to give people something to do on a Saturday night,” Zacky explained. “A lot of times people are looking for somewhere to relax, have fun, and enjoy themselves without spending too much. That’s why I came up with the idea of a drink-inclusive event that could bring people together for a great time, and I am happy with the response from patrons.”

The first staging of SATDEHZ attracted a strong turnout, with patrons praising the atmosphere, music, and overall experience, courtesy of DJs Zacky and Spectre.

The successful launch has left organisers optimistic about the future of the event.

DJ Zacky expressed confidence in the brand’s growth, noting that the support received at the inaugural staging exceeded expectations.

“People came out and really enjoyed themselves,” he said. “The feedback has been great, and it gives us confidence moving forward. We believe SATDEHZ can become one of the standout events on the entertainment calendar.”
