Business House League off to strong start, says domino president
THE 2026 National Association of Domino Bodies (NADB) Business House League got off to a lively start last Friday at Jacisera Park, with teams turning out in strong numbers.
NADB president Humbert Davis said he was encouraged by the opening night turnout and competition.
“We were pleased with the start of the 2026 Business House League. The teams came out in their numbers for competition and it shows the continued interest in the sport,” Davis said.
“This is exactly the kind of energy we want to see as we build toward the business house championship,” he told the
Jamaica Observer.
In Zone 1 action National Housing Trust (NHT) edged GraceKennedy Money Services 92-90 in a thriller, while Ministry of Education, Skills, Youth, and Information (MOESYI) picked up full points after Jamaica Observer failed to show.
In Zone 2 Covenant Insurance Brokers (CIB) dominated Bank of Jamaica 83-47, and Post and Telecommunications Department (PTD) crushed Port Authority of Jamaica (PAJ) 120-68.
Today’s matches will see Jamaica Observer versus NHT, GK versus MOESYI in Zone 1 actions and in Zone 2, CIB take on PAJ and PTD play BOJ. All matches will be played at NHT starting at 6:00 pm.
