St Mary family wins $1 million in inaugural Supligen Big Boost Games
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A family from Gayle, St Mary, is celebrating a $1-million payday after emerging victorious in the inaugural Supligen Big Boost Games, a gruelling 50-hour endurance competition that tested participants’ resilience, teamwork and determination.
Team Phoenix, comprising Monique Brown Ramharrack, 36, her daughter Tanique Dunn, 19, and nephew Rushane Williams, 19, defeated 49 other teams to claim the top prize after the competition began on Thursday evening and concluded on Saturday.
The event required teams of three to maintain continuous physical contact with the iconic Supligen Cup while completing a series of challenges over the course of the 50-hour contest.
For the winning family, the prize money will help bring long-term ambitions within reach.
The family said their journey to victory began less than a day before the competition. After spotting a social media post promoting the Big Boost Games, Dunn assembled her mother and cousin before travelling from St Mary to Kingston to take part.

They attributed their success to discipline, teamwork and faith. Williams said he used one of his bathroom breaks during the competition to pray, while Brown Ramharrack stayed awake through the overnight hours to ensure the team’s contact with the Supligen Cup was never broken.
“This million-dollar win is not for me, it’s for them,” Brown Ramharrack said. “Tanique has always dreamed of studying overseas, and Rushane also has plans for his future. Now we have a head start on making those dreams a reality. There were moments when we almost got eliminated, but we trusted God, worked together as a family and stayed focused until the very end.”
Finishing second was Team Vanguards, made up of content creators Tyewhan Eduh, 22, Jevar Henry, 30, and T’wayne Graham, 22. The trio received $100,000 each after placing as runners-up.
Brand Manager for Supligen, Deidra Grey, said the competition was designed to commemorate the brand’s 50th anniversary while celebrating the qualities it has long associated with the product.
“Watching the resilience, teamwork and determination displayed by every competitor over the past 50 hours was truly inspiring,” Grey said.
“As we celebrate Supligen’s 50th anniversary, we wanted to reconnect with Jamaicans through a first-of-its-kind experience that reflects the values our brand has championed for five decades — strength, energy and resilience. Team Phoenix and Team Vanguards embodied those values from beginning to end, and we couldn’t be prouder of every team that accepted the challenge.”
