Saluting ‘Deanie’

PARLIAMENT on Tuesday paid tribute to former Member of Parliament for Manchester North Western, councillor, mayor of Mandeville, and former Cabinet Minister Dean “Deanie” Peart, who passed away on Sunday at age 77.

His widow Vynette was in the House of Representatives to enjoy the bittersweet moment as his former colleagues recalled his contributions to Jamaica.
