Flow rebates customer after months without Internet
Dear Claudienne,
Thank you for assisting so many people with their problems. My issue concerns Flow’s Browse and Talk landline and Internet service.
In February 2026, I reported that my Internet service was not working. A technician visited under ticket number 8496737 and said the problem had been corrected. However, the problem continued. The Internet would work for a few minutes and then remain down for two or three days.
I made another report to Flow on June 8, 2026 after losing service completely from May 29. No technician came to investigate the problem and I remained without Internet service.
Despite this, Flow continued sending bills without making any adjustment for the periods during which I had no service.
Could you please help me?
CL
Dear CL,
Tell Claudienne has been in discussions with Flow regarding your complaint and notes that you subsequently received the following response from the company:
“Please be advised that a rebate totalling $8,038.33 plus GCT [General Consumption Tax] was applied to your account on July 23, 2026, to remove the charges incurred during the service outage period from May 29, 2026, to July 20, 2026.”
The column understands that your Internet service has since been restored. However, you have advised us that the connection remains inconsistent and continues to fluctuate.
Flow has also indicated that your modem is to be replaced.
Tell Claudienne will continue to follow up with the company to ensure that the modem is changed as promised and your service is fully restored.
We wish you all the best.
