Tasha T continues her ‘One World’ journey with Chapter 2
REGGAE artiste Tasha T is set to release One World: Chapter 2 on September 4, 2026. The two-part project is presented by RasVibe Records Inc in collaboration with IslandYard productions and distributed by VPAL Music, with the title track and single, Bad and Ruff ft Lady G, arriving one day earlier on September 3.
Chapter 2 follows the August 14 release of One World: Chapter 1 and continues Tasha T’s two-part presentation of her artistry. Chapter 1 highlighted her melodic and soulful approach across 12 songs rooted in faith, love, resilience, heritage, female empowerment and global unity.
Chapter 2 brings forward a stronger deejay delivery and a more direct approach to social and cultural commentary.
Bad and Ruffsets the tone for the project. Driven by Tasha T’s firm delivery and conscious outlook, the song reflects the sharper edge of
Chapter 2 while remaining grounded in the roots reggae tradition that has shaped her work.
“One World represents the different ways I use music to connect with people. These two chapters allowed me to honour both sides of who I am as an artiste, while reminding listeners that, despite our differences, we are still one people living in one world,” Tasha T said.
Chapter 2 arrives as the lead single from Chapter 1, Ten Foot Wall, continues its chart run. The song reached No 1 on the Rebel Vibez Top Ten, No 1 on the Reggae North chart and No 3 on the New York Foundation Radio Network Top 30. Together, the two chapters show the range of Tasha T’s sound without moving away from her foundation. From the melody and reflection of Chapter 1 to the urgency and direct commentary of Chapter 2, One World remains focused on purposeful music, cultural identity and shared humanity.
Bad and Ruff became available across digital platforms on September 3. One World: Chapter 2 followed on September 4.
