THE Miss Jamaica World organisers, Crown of Beauty, are pleased with the representation of Miss Jamaica World (2025) Nevaeh Allen at the Miss World finals, which took place on Saturday, September 5 in Nha Trang, Vietnam.

The pageant was won by Dominica Republic’s Joheirry Mola, while Elisabeth Reynes of Spain finished in second place, with Malaysia’s Taanusiya Chetty named as second runner-up.

Allen did not make it into the top 40.

“We are happy with her representation and grateful that she did her best to make Jamaica proud,” Daliah Harris of Crown of Beauty told the Jamaica Observer on Saturday. “The Americas and Caribbean cohorts were extremely competitive. Congratulations to the Dominican Republic’s Joheirry Mola.”

Allen was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2025 in January, after the pageant was postponed last year due to the effects of Hurricane Melissa.

Some 111 countries competed in the Miss World finals. Trinidad and Tobago’s Georgia-Lee Gill was named Continental Queen of Americas & Caribbean.

To date, Jamaica has secured four Miss World titles – Carole Joan Crawford (1963), Cindy Breakspeare (1976), Lisa Hanna (1993) and Toni Ann Singh (2019).

The country has also had many top 10 and top five placements at Miss World over the years.

The first Jamaican delegate to compete at Miss World was Miss Jamaica 1959 Sheila Chong, who is now deceased. She made it into the top 15.
