Grace Back-To-School Bites: Tuna Salad Sandwiches

For a quick and satisfying lunch option, try these easy Grace Tuna Salad Sandwiches. Made with simple ingredients and packed with familiar flavours, they are perfect for helping to make busy back-to-school mornings a little easier.

Grace Tuna is combined with creamy Grace Mayonnaise, sweet pepper and onion, then brightened with Grace White Distilled Vinegar or fresh lime juice. A few dashes of Grace Hot Pepper Sauce and Caribbean Traditions Black Pepper complete this flavourful filling.

Serve between slices of hardo bread and cut into triangles, squares or smaller portions for an easy lunchbox option. Add lettuce, cucumber and tomato on the side for extra freshness. This quick and easy meal makes back-to-school lunchtime a Good Move.

Makes: 2-3 servings

Prep Time: 10 minutes

 

Ingredients

1 can Grace Tuna (in oil or water), drained

3 tbsp Grace Mayonnaise

2 tbsp sweet pepper, finely diced

1 tbsp onion, finely diced

1 tsp Grace White Distilled Vinegar or fresh lime juice

Grace Hot Pepper Sauce, to taste

Caribbean Traditions Black Pepper, to taste

6 slices hardo bread

Lettuce, cucumber, and tomato, sliced, for serving, optional

Grace Products Featured: Grace Tuna, Grace Mayonnaise, Grace Hot Pepper Sauce, Grace White Distilled Vinegar

 

Method

1. Add the drained Grace Tuna to a medium bowl and gently break apart with a fork

Add drained Grace Tuna to the bowl.

2. Add the Grace Mayonnaise, sweet pepper, and onion

Finely chop sweet peppers and red onion.

3. Add the Grace White Distilled Vinegar (or fresh lime juice), a few dashes of Grace

Hot Pepper Sauce, and black pepper

 

4. Mix until everything is evenly combined

Mix all ingredients until well-combined.

5. Spread the tuna salad across two to three slices of hardo bread and top with the remaining slices. Cut off crusts if desired.
