For a decade, Love & Harmony Cruise has been bringing Caribbean music lovers together on the high seas. Next year the celebration is getting even more personal as the popular music cruise marks its 10th anniversary.

With a special Mother’s Day voyage scheduled from May 6 to 11, 2027, the whole family will be invited to celebrate a milestone that has become as much about community as it is about music.

Reggae icon Beres Hammond will be captaining the ship once more and, as it has done for the past nine years, the Love and Harmony crew expects to deliver an unforgettable experience on the high seas.

Veteran Beres Hammond will be joined by Sanchez, D’Yani, Aidonia, Kevin Downswell, and I-Wayne for the special anniversary sail dates, with more artistes and entertainment still to be announced.

The six-day, five-night experience will be a round trip from Miami aboard the Norwegian Jewel, making stops in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and Nassau, Bahamas.

But while the 10th anniversary promises the concerts, parties, and entertainment that guests have come to expect, organisers are placing a special emphasis on family this time around.

“Ten years is an incredible milestone for Love & Harmony, but what makes this anniversary even more meaningful is that we are sailing over Mother’s Day weekend,” Director of Marketing and Public Relations Ronnie Tomlinson said.

“Love & Harmony Cruise has always felt like a family reunion at sea. We have guests who return year after year, and this time we want them to bring their mothers, children, and loved ones and celebrate together. This is more than a cruise, it is six days of Caribbean culture, music, food, laughter and memories,” he said

That family-friendly approach is reflected in the offer for the 2027 sailing, with children 12 and younger sailing for free, subject to applicable taxes and fees.

And for those who have experienced Love & Harmony before, the promise is familiar: Once the ship leaves Miami, the party does not stop simply because the sun goes down.

Live concerts, themed parties, DJ experiences, karaoke, games, comedy, poolside activities, and the Captain’s Dinner will fill the schedule, while Caribbean flavours will remain an important part of the experience.

Guests can expect a mix of Caribbean and American fare alongside Norwegian Jewel’s fine and casual dining options, with Jamaican favourites such as oxtail, ackee and saltfish, jerk chicken, and curry goat among the flavours that have helped bring the island experience aboard.

While music remains the heartbeat of Love & Harmony, laughter has increasingly become part of its soundtrack and as such comedy will play a big part in the cruise’s itinerary come May. Canadian comedian Trixx will return following his appearance on the 2026 sailing, while Jamaican-British comedian White Yardie will make his Love & Harmony debut. The comedy offering adds another layer to a voyage that has evolved beyond a traditional music cruise, giving guests something to do whether they are catching a concert, lounging poolside, or simply looking for a reason to laugh.

The anniversary celebration makes its way back to Jamaican soil when the Norwegian Jewel docks in Montego Bay on Saturday, May 8. Love & Harmony will take over Tropical Bliss Beach for a special destination experience hosted by dancehall star Aidonia, giving guests the chance to trade the ship for sand, sea, and the unmistakable energy of Montego Bay. The ship is scheduled to be in port from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing Harmonisers to spend the day experiencing Jamaica before returning to the vessel and continuing the anniversary festivities.

Then, on Sunday, May 9 — Mother’s Day — the ship will remain at sea.

For organisers, the timing is intentional.

Rather than rushing from one destination to another, families will have the entire day to celebrate together, surrounded by music, food, entertainment, and the community that Love & Harmony has cultivated over the past decade.

The cruise will then head to Nassau, Bahamas, on May 10 before returning to Miami on May 11.

With additional artistes, DJs, special events and anniversary surprises still to be announced, the 2027 sailing is shaping up to be both a look back at Love & Harmony’s first decade and a celebration of the people who helped make the journey possible.
