How I got dumped
Many of us have had someone end a relationship that we thought was going well. And we sat wondering what really happened.
Have you ever been dumped? How did it happen?
Marcia, 39:
One day I was at work when I got a call from a woman telling me that she was my man’s fiancée. I allowed her to rant, then I called him. He was shocked that she called me then he calmly told me that he was seeing someone else and that they were going to get married. She lived in Canada and I was the woman on the side. I cursed him out, then had a good cry.
Terry, 34:
One of my exes broke things off with me and didn’t even tell me. He stopped calling me, not even a text. Whenever I called it went to voicemail. I had to call his sister to find out that he didn’t want me anymore. It really hurt me because I didn’t know why he ended it.
Sean, 33:
I had my heart broken really badly when I was in my teens. I met this girl from another high school. I thought she was the one until one day I saw her with another guy from her school. I walked over to her and she started to call me all sorts of names and laughed at me. I lost all interest in high school girls from that day. Now I only date older women.
Cay-Ann, 26:
I was with a guy for three years and one day he just looked at me and told me that he had fallen out of love with me and he wanted me to move out. I never saw it coming. Thank God I could have moved back into my mother’s house.
