Kids’ new year’s resolutions
CHILDREN should not be left out of the age-old tradition of New Year’s resolutions, which encourage individuals to stay true to a list of commitments that they hope will positively influence various aspects of their life.
Below, kids who acknowledged that they will be depending on their parents to help them with becoming better individuals, shared all they hope to achieve this year:

This year, I want to be more thankful for all the things I have that other children don’t. I want to stop being so picky and selfish with my toys because my mother did not raise me that way and it makes her sad when I act like that. I want to make my mother happy every day.

I hope that my father will feel better; that he will come home from America safe and sound. I also want to do well in school so that my parents can be proud. I want to lose some weight and not eat too many foods that are bad for me and also to visit my cousin at work more often.

I wish to be a good boy so I can go to Disney World. I hope I can be kinder to people and my sister. I should also eat fewer sweets.

I want to become spelling champion, so I have to work very hard. I want to help my mother more at home and be able to do things independent of my parents to make the work lighter, especially for my mother.

I want to go to Disneyland more than anything else and I want a princess birthday party with everybody wearing rainbow lights shoes and a very big doll, one like me. I also want to raise the money this year for children who need it and I hope my mom and family will keep a party for them too.

I want to be more careful, to take care of my toys and other gifts my mom gives me and to help more around the house with chores, for example, folding my clothes.
