The right shot for the G-spot
FOR centuries, the mysterious location and even existence of that “magical” erotic zone within the vagina known as the Gräfenberg Spot (aka the G-spot) has baffled the minds of men. In fact, many authoritative medical authorities are still in debate as to its actual existence. Is it real? Does it exist? Am I less masculine if I cannot locate it for my lady?
Though a figment of many men’s imaginations (and even women), the Gräfenberg spot is as real as the air which we inhale. Originally discovered in the 17th century by Dutch physician Regnier de Graaf, further research in the 1940s by German gynaecologist Ernst Gräfenberg confirmed its location. The G-spot was originally described as “an erotic zone in the anterior (top) wall of the vagina in the midline (middle) along the course of the urethra (tube from bladder to outside — which urine comes from).”
Because of its heightened sensitivity, when the G-spot is stimulated it can lead to strong arousals, powerful orgasms and potential female ejaculation. It is located two to three inches up the top wall of the vagina between the vaginal opening and the urethra, and has a slightly different consistency versus the remainder of the top of the vagina. There is some stipulation as to the G-spot being an extension of the clitoris (inside clitoris as described by some) or it being an entirely different erogenous zone. Either way, its stimulation has phenomenal responses.
Most women experience orgasm secondary to stimulation of the clitoris during sexual intercourse. The G-spot orgasm is a bit more complicated to achieve due to the sheer location of the area. The missionary position may be difficult to stimulate the G-spot, but alternate positions more prone to stimulation will lead to orgasm via this route. If the partner’s phallus has a widened surface area (increased girth), some women can orgasm via the G-spot more easily regardless of position, as it will be more stimulated.
Can the G-spot be amplified? The answer is yes, by application of the G-Shot — a simple, non-surgical, painless office procedure that can augment the G-spot in normal women with normal sexual function. Using a specialised speculum (instrument used to examine the vagina) with a built-in light source, a specified amount of high molecular weight hyaluronan (bulking agent) is injected into the G-spot after numbing the area. The G-Shot enlarges the G-spot by less than an inch making it protrude more into the vagina, resulting in easier and greater stimulation during sex. The G-Shot works for six months and the results will vary amongst patients.
The G-Shot is recommended for women who have no problem with sexual function and can normally achieve orgasm. It was created to intensify sexual gratification and not as a solution for sexual dysfunction (difficulties with arousal and orgasm). Numerous studies have confirmed that orgasms and sexual pleasure are intensified significantly with the G-Shot.
