Love knows no distance
It is not easy being in a relationship these days, what with so many distractions, and it is twice as challenging for those in long distance relationships. We asked several women who have experienced same to share their secrets in dealing with the distance.
Caren:
For me, I ensure that we always communicate. That is the key to a successful relationship and marriage anyway. We do this often – every time we get the opportunity, and that actually keeps our relationship blooming and growing.
Suzette:
I talked to my husband almost every day when he had to travel across the other side of the world for a whole year. I think if you and your partner really love each other, the distance is easier to handle than if you are insecure and unsure about your relationship.
Tanesha:
Love did it because it is not easy wanting love and your man is not around to comfort you. So I simply stuck to my phone – I talked to him non-stop and kept our fire burning so when we saw each other again, the romance was intensified.
Sophie:
What keeps my relationship afloat is good communication, amazing intimacy when we see each other, and lots of travelling.
Raceine:
I communicate with my husband and I pray. He is in the US army so I just adjust myself accordingly. I love my husband and I am not leaving his side.
