Shenseea delivers dreamy performance at Daydreams

NEGRIL, Westmoreland — Jamaican international artiste Shenseea took to the stage in the final hour of Dream WKND to deliver an interactive, highly energetic performance.

The Shenyeng Anthem singer engaged with Dreamers, inviting her supporters onstage to perform her song Good Comfort. The patrons were highly receptive to her performance, helping her belt out hit after hit.

According to P J Wright, promoter of Daydreams, “This has been Daydream’s largest turnout. It is one of our flagship events that both locals and foreigners always anticipate. The fact that it’s held on an open beach, where patrons can dip their feet in the water, is a major plus. Having Shenseea perform only amplified the event as she partied with patrons during her highly interactive performance.”

Despite the unexpected downpour of rain, patrons were visibly thrilled to be at the professed party weekend of the summer donned in their all-white ensembles, as they stayed true to the day’s theme.

Dreamer, Bubbles Francis, in from South Florida, was enchanted by Shenseea’s performance: “Daydreams was really nice. The highlight of the event was seeing Shenseea. Her performance was amazing; it’s almost as if she put you in a trance, and I absolutely love how she engaged with the audience.”

Patrons were treated to a wide genre of musical selections, including soca, dancehall and rap, by DJs Crazy Neil, Noah Powa and Polish and Chromatic.

The weekend continued with YUSH on Saturday night and Wet N Wild on Sunday.
