Finally…

The ROK Hotel’s Palate restaurant became a private area Thursday, ostensibly to raise a toast to the cabal of brilliant minds who had jetted into The Rock last week for the two-day Visionaries’ Summit.

The elite confab, intimate by design, attracted legendary investor Dr Mark Mobius, British global technology leader Jacky Wright, Jamaican shipping stalwart Charmaine Maragh, as well as other global business luminaries, innovators, and influencers.

In his welcome, conceptualiser and curator of The Destination Experience Kirk-Anthony Hamilton shared, “Small groups can make a tremendous impact, I think we’ve managed to bring together a powerful group of people who really can drive some level of transformation, and who really seem to have a passion to help drive change.”

“What’s going to matter most from here is how we stay connected and what we do after we leave the room tonight. Because as of tomorrow, this ends, the momentum changes, the energy shifts, we go on planes, etc. And things can then get lost. And then we come around next year and have the same conversation again. Or, we stay connected, we really buy into all that we’ve discussed, we believe that we can shape the future and we start working together to do it,” he concluded to nods of approval.
