Television Jamaica (TVJ) producer Khadene Foote has been selected as a delegate to the Edinburgh International Television Festival, an annual event in the UK for young, talented persons involved in media.

Foote’s participation in this year’s festival, which will be held from August 26 to 29, is facilitated by the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association’s (CBA) WorldView Fast Track partnership with the Festival. TVJ general manager and CBA executive ember Kay Osborne said in a press release on Friday that “TVJ is delighted that Khadene has been selected for this valuable opportunity that will benefit our company and our country. We are proud that Khadene’s exceptional accomplishments at TVJ are being rewarded in this way.”

During the Festival, Foote will attend master classes and have access to a diverse programme of over 50 sessions, including debates about important industry issues, future trends, entertainment sessions and some of the most innovative leaders in the media delivering keynote speeches.
