Coldwell Banker Jamaica gets GoldenEye portfolio

Chris Blackwell’s GoldenEye last week announced the appointment of Coldwell Banker Jamaica Realty as sole agency for sales of the the luxury resort’s on-property real estate offerings.

The Oracabessa, St Mary-based resort, which was the beloved Jamaica home of author and James Bond-creator Ian Fleming, recently reopened with new Beach and Lagoon Cottages that are among the property’s real estate offerings.

Coldwell Banker Jamaica Realty is led by Andrew Issa and operates out of four offices in Kingston, Montego Bay, Treasure Beach, and Ocho Rios, with over 50 agents island-wide.

“We are very pleased that Coldwell Banker Jamaica will be representing us in the marketing and sales of this exceptional property,” said Blackwell in a press release, adding “They share our core values and we have no doubt that they will provide our clients with the highest level of service.”

Issa said his company is “thrilled” to have been awarded the opportunity to present GoldenEye to the worldwide market.”

Issa added: “The Coldwell Banker Jamaica name has become synonymous with luxury resort properties in Jamaica. We have achieved this by ‘adding value’ through our local knowledge, global reach, brand strength and a highly rated web site.”

Coldwell Banker Jamaica sales associate Sandy Tatham has been appointed as lead agent overseeing the GoldenEye portfolio.

“Sandy has a long-standing relationship with Chris Blackwell and GoldenEye. They speak the same language and share the same vision of GoldenEye as the premium luxury resort offering in the Caribbean,” said Issa.

Through careful preservation, and a discerning approach to completing the 20-acres that make up Phase One of the retreat, Blackwell is said to have ensured that the relaxed allure of Ian Fleming’s GoldenEye endures. Set along a pristine coast, with secluded beaches, lush tropical gardens and the calm waters of the property’s lagoon, the 52-acre estate now encompasses 21 units – nine new Beach Cottages, two new Lagoon Cottages, six new Lagoon Suites, plus Fleming’s original villa and three of the earlier villas built by Blackwell. Rounding out the GoldenEye experience is the expanded selection of offerings and services, including high-tech amenities, two new swimming pools, two restaurants, and the resort’s new signature FieldSpa. The concept spa features a menu of locally-inspired treatments, and a comprehensive selection of activities.
