The island’s junior athletes, who started the third and final day of the Ganes with 43 medals, added another 28 for the total that saw 28 gold, 27 silver and 16 bronze.

Trinidad and Tobago were next with 35 medals- nine gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze, followed by the Bahamas with 30 medals- eight gold, 12 silver and 10 bronze; Barbados with 17 medals-six gold, three silver and eight bronze and Guyana with six medals including four gold, a silver and a bronze to round out to top five.
