NEPA probes fish kill in Kingston Harbour
The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) is advising the public that it is investigating a fish kill within the Kingston Harbour in the vicinity of the mouth of the Dawkins Pond in the Port Henderson area.
NEPA issued the advisory Friday after receiving reports of the fish kill at approximately 9:30 am.
The agency disclosed that it has since deployed a technical team to investigate the report and will provide further updates.
It also warned the public against collecting the dead fish in the area for consumption.
