Barita Investments MD is new JSE chairman

KINGSTON, Jamaica – A new chairman and deputy chairman for the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) were yesterday elected at a special board meeting.
Managing Director of Barita Investments Limited, Ian McNaughton, was named chairman, while CEO of Mayberry Investments Limited Gary Peart was elected as his deputy.
The immediate past chairman Allan Lewis, who did not seek re-election and resigned from the board, thanked all the members of the board, management and staff of the JSE for their support over the two years of his chairmanship.
He also wished the company well in the future.
