Brothers nabbed with cocaine in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Two brothers are this evening in police custody following the seizure of eight rectangular parcels containing cocaine on the St Jago main road in Clarendon.
The Milk River police reported that a team of officers on operation in the area, stopped a Toyota Axio motorcar about 3:00 pm and searched both the vehicle and its occupants.
This was when the parcels of cocaine were reportedly found. The lawmen did not disclose whether the items were found in the vehicle or on the occupants.
The names of the two men are being withheld, however, the police revealed that they are brothers, aged 35 and 50 years of old.
The value of the illicit drug has not yet been ascertained.
