Cops need help reuniting elderly man with family

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The police are seeking the public’s assistance in reuniting an elderly man with his family.

He was found wandering on Old Hope Road in St Andrew, today.

The police say the elderly man identified himself as Alphanso Jones, 71, of Good Hope district, Westmoreland. He said he lives with his children and sister.

The man is of dark complexion, stout build, is about five-foot-eight-inch tall, and is blind in the left eye.

The police are asking anyone who can assist them in locating the man’s family members to contact the Darling Street Police at 948-6773, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
