JCF members keep Ja flag flying high in Bahamas
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) are now in Bahamas attending the Law Enforcement Torch Run International Conference.
The event, which is held annually, is the place where law enforcement officials meet to share ideas on how to raise awareness and raise funds for athletes who are intellectually challenged.
It is also the primary fund-raising body for Special Olympics globally.
Jamaica was the first Caribbean country to implement the programme in 1986.
Law enforcers from several countries are now participating in the event that will run from October 1 to Saturday, October 3.
