PNP supporters upset at being placed away from Gordon House
KINGSTON, Jamaica — People’s National Party (PNP) member of Parliament Julian Robinson this morning complained that supporters of the party were unable to view the day’s proceedings as they were relocated too away from Gordon House for today’s ceremonial opening of Parliament.
The re-location of party supporters away from Gordon House was effected by the police for security reasons.
But following protests from the PNP supporters party stalwarts KD Knight and Phillip Paulwell reportedly told them that they could return to their original spot nearer the Government Printing Office.
The police have since allowed the supporters to move closer to activities at Gordon House.
