PNP takes parish tours to St Ann
KINGSTON, Jamaica – With a general election looming and both political parties entering into high gear with election preparations, the People’s National Party (PNP) is expected to continue its series of multi-parish meetings this Sunday.
While many are seemingly sitting on the sidelines waiting for Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller to “fly di gate”, Simpson Miller and her team will be addressing party supporters at a meeting in Brown’s Town, St Ann.
A press release from the party Wednesday said that the PNP president will headline a roster of speakers, including members of Parliament, caretaker candidates, regional chairmen, PNPYO representatives, and other party officials from the region.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:00 pm.
