KINGSTON, Jamaica –The Police High Command has announced the transfer of several senior officers within the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) effective Monday, June 6.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Warren Clarke of the Strategic Operations Portfolio is expected to take command of Area One comprising Westmoreland, Hanover, St James and Trelawny, while ACP Winchroy Budhoo will be assigned to the Strategic Operations Portfolio.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Steve McGregor has been reassigned to the Territorial Operations Portfolio from St James. McGregor’s replacement will be SSP Marlon Nesbeth.

Meanwhile, SSP McCarter Sutherland will now head the Narcotics Division, while SSP Calvin Small of Narcotics will take up posting at the National Intelligence Bureau.

Superintendent Steve Brown will move from Clarendon to the National Police College of Jamaica (NPCJ); Superintendent Michael Scott will move from Kingston Central to Mobile Reserve; Superintendent Victor Hamilton will transition from Mounted Troop Division to Area 4 Divisional Headquarters while Superintendent Warren Campbell will head to Kingston Central.

Several other officers will also take up new postings effective June 6, the police information arm, Corporate Communications Unit said.
