Teachers call for more early childhood assistance
ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – A call is being made for Corporate Jamaica to make greater contribution towards the development of the nation’s educational institutions.
The latest suggestion has come from teachers at Orange field Basic School, an institution that caters to students between the ages two to five.
“We need to see more companies doing more to develop schools in and around where they operate,” said principal of the school Marlene Richards.
Richards said companies should realise that investment on youth is an investment towards the future.
