Two drivers killed in Trelawny motor vehicle crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — Two drivers, a female and an unidentified male, died from injuries they sustained in a head-on collision in Trelawny early this morning.
The dead woman has been identified as 59-year-old Phoebe Williamson Daley of Albion Heights in St James.
Police reports are that about 12:05am, a man driving a white Toyota station wagon overtook a line of traffic along the Falmouth bypass, in the vicinity of Bogue Gate, and collided with a grey Nissan motorcar going in the opposite direction.
The two drivers were injured and taken to the Falmouth Public General Hospital where they were both pronounced dead.
Members of the traffic division at the Falmouth Police Station are investigating.
