Police seek help to solve Little London double murder
LITTLE LONDON, Westmoreland – Investigators probing Thursday’s double murder in this small rural community have appealed to persons with information on the killings to come forward, as they intensify their probe into the parish’s latest homicides.
The police said, however, that they had not yet identified a motive for the killings.
According to the police, about 4:45 am a passer-by saw a Toyota Corolla motor car with two persons parked along the St Paul’s main road in Little London, and notified the police, who discovered that the two had been shot.
They were identified as Sandra McLeish, 42, of Three Miles River, Westmoreland and 39-year-old St Wilks Miller of New Market Oval, also in the parish.
The couple was taken to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital where McLeish was pronounced dead.
Wilks was later transferred to the University Hospital in Kingston where he later died from his injuries.
