Man found dead in Windsor Heights

A 27-year-old man was Sunday found dead in Windsor Heights, Central Village, St Catherine.

He has been identified as Kevin Taylor, otherwise called ‘Fat Dog’ of an area known as ‘Compound’ in Central Village.

The St Catherine South police reported that about 7:00 am a police search team found Taylor’s body with gunshot wounds on a dirt track. It was subsequently removed to the morgue for post-mortem examination. The police had been called to the area after explosions had been heard about 4:00 am.

Man shot dead in Gobay

DETECTIVES from the Riversdale Police Station are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a man in Mattis Hill, Gobay, St Catherine Sunday.

The dead man has been identified as 23-year-old Miguel Nelson of Mattis Hill.

According to the police, about 12:50 Sunday morning residents heard explosions and summoned the police. On the arrival of the lawmen, the area was searched and the body found in bushes. The crime scene was processed and the body removed to the morgue for post-mortem examination.

.Another found dead in Rocky Point

A man identified as Owen Gordon, alias “Hulk”, was found dead in a shack in Rocky Point, Lionel Town, Clarendon on Sunday.

The police said about 12:30 pm Gordon’s body was found in shack by a group of persons. Investigators who visited the scene found a number of stab wounds on the body. It was subsequently removed to the morgue.
