Superintendent Merrick Watson takes command of the St James Police Division from Superintendent Maurice Robinson. Supt Robinson is now reassigned to the St Elizabeth Police Division. Supt Watson before his new assignment served as the Divisional Commander for St Elizabeth.

Deputy Superintendent Arthur Brown is now the Divisional Commander for the Kingston West Police Division. He takes over from Superintendent Hugh Bish who has been reassigned to the Mobile Reserve.

The list of Area Commanders and Divisional Commanders for the five Police Areas and 19 Police Geographic Divisions is as follows:
