Truck goes over precipice killing man
Truck came off road in Wait-A-Bit, Trelawny
JEFFET Coleman, 48, of Longville, Clarendon died after the truck in which he was traveling plunged over a precipice along Airy Hill main road in Wait-A-Bit, Trelawny this morning.
The Wait-A-Bit Police report that about 8:00 am Coleman, who is also called ‘Baboo’ and five other men were aboard a truck which was transporting yam sticks from Clarendon to Trelawny.
On reaching a section of Airy Hill main road the driver of the truck reportedly lost control of the vehicle which overturned into a precipice.
All his passengers sustained multiple injuries and were taken to the Percy Junor Hospital were Coleman was pronounced dead.
Another man was admitted in serious condition and the others were treated and released.
