Night football comes to Clarendon
MAY PEN, Clarendon — Clarendon should get its first taste of night football tonight when Digicel Premier League (DPL) outfit Humble Lion FC take on a parish select team at the Effortville Community Centre, starting at 6:00 pm.
Humble Lion kicked off their DPL campaign last week with a 0-1 away defeat to defending champions Harbour View, but will be hoping that their first point will come under lights when they host early leaders Boys’ Town next Wednesday at Effortville.
The game against the Clarendon All-Stars will be used to test the readiness of lights, as Humble Lion — who are in their second season of top-flight football — look to usher in a new era in Clarendon football.
