LeBron James’s stunning new $9-million, 8-bed, 8-bath Coconut Grove mansion
Being a sports star certainly pays off. LeBron James has moved into an enormous $9-million mansion in Miami’s Coconut Grove. The palatial home has an impressive white facade with Roman-style columns and arches throughout and overlooks Biscayne Bay.
And just in case he wasn’t seeing enough of the outdoors, both floors have wraparound verandas, in the style of an old Southern plantation home. Surrounded by tall palm trees, the home boasts a beautiful infinity swimming pool, the edges of which reach a private pier leading out to the warm turquoise sea. There’s plenty of room for the family to enjoy their new status since LeBron, 25, moved from Cleveland to play for the Miami Heat basketball team. His girlfriend Savannah Brinson, 24, will be joining him along with their children LeBron Junior, five, and Bryce, three, although Savannah has expressed doubts about living in Miami.
Earlier this year, she told Harper’s Bazaar: “Personally, Miami was not my favourite place. Vacationing there is great. You go for three days and get some sun and it’s time to go home.” Hopefully the new house will cheer her up. “It will definitely be an adjustment,” she added, “but we’ll make it.”
