LIME TV has exclusive EME coverage
LIME, the exclusive mobile partner of the 2011 Excellence in Music & Entertainment (EME) Awards, has announced that it will be providing special coverage of the highly-anticipated event exclusively via its mobile TV service.
“This is another opportunity for us to bring high quality, star-studded content to viewers in Jamaica via our newest technology and we will also be taking them even closer to the stars with exclusive live coverage, interviews and backstage access at the event,” said LIME’s regional special projects manager, Stephen Price.
“We are looking forward to spectacular performances by both Eve and Trina; we know our local performers will do us proud and of course LIME’s Mobile TV Customers will have all the action in the palm of their hands,” he added.
Being touted as the ‘biggest staging ever’, the 2011 EME Awards, will see performances from popular American rappers Eve and Trina and a host of top reggae and dancehall acts including, Jah Cure, Lady Saw, Bounty Killer, Etana, Elephant Man, Wayne Wonder, Tifa, Andrew Tosh and No-Maddz.
With less than one week to the event, voting is now on in earnest for the artistes and other entertainment industry professionals as the public can vote in all categories via text for the first time in the history of the awards show.
The brainchild of local radio personality, Richard ‘Richie B’ Burgess, the annual Excellence in Music and Entertainment Awards celebrates the most outstanding talents within the Jamaican entertainment industry as well as international personalities that have made contributions to Jamaica.
The 2011 staging of the prestigious event is scheduled for Saturday, March 12 on the lawns of Devon House in Kingston.
