Hoopers on a roll in Flow league
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Hoopers won their fifth straight game in the Flow National Basketball League-West, while Jaguars came back late to beat Railway Tigers in over time as the return round continued at the Montego Bay Cricket Club on Saturday.
Hoopers turned back Inner-city Avalanche by 14 points (71-57) after Jaguars had roared back against Railway Tigers in a game interrupted by a power outage.
Railway Tigers surrendered a lead late in the game for the second straight week to lose 69-82 in over time after scoring just three points in the extra period.
Hoopers lead with 12 points from seven games, followed by Catherine Hall All-stars and Jaguars, both on nine points from six games, and Tigers also on nine, but from seven games. Meantime, Avalanche are on eight points from six games.
