Talent galore for Ewarton family fun day
A number of talented young acts will grace the stage for the first staging of the Ewarton family funding to be held at the Ewarton Community Centre today.
Among the new acts are reggae artiste Cali P known for the popular single, Hot Steppa, as well as a number of special guest artist will also making appearances such as London based Jamaican songstress Sonya, Nature, and Crisopolis . New artiste Shanghi, known for
the Juicy Fruit single in Canada, will also be on show.
Sonya will be making her first Jamaican appearance, roots and culture artist, while Nature t recently returned from a 3 month tour of Australia where he performed at the leading clubs and music festivals. Inspired Music Concepts recording artiste Cali P is another new young artist who will be making his presence felt at the event .
The event is set to kick off at 12:00 noon with activities for the children including bounce-a-bout, train ride, aeroplane, water slide and free ice cream and Wizard the magician performing.
The nights musical package will feature Mavado, Khargo, D Angel, Jimmy Riley, Dub Tonic Kru, Rominal, Shanti High, Ras Marlon, Steve Tulloch, Dub poet Patrick Davis with backing by Togetherness Band and Presto Mix Sound System, with host Jah T of Power 99 Radio in Philadelphia and Tony Mack.
Speaking on behalf of the promoters, Tony Mack stated, “This is an event not to be missed as it promises to entertain all ages in a clean atmosphere.”
