In Case U Missed It
RIP — Rap group Cali Swag District lost a member late Sunday night.
Mante ‘MBone’ Talbert was said to have been shot several times in the head during a drive-by shooting that happened in Inglewood, California. The 22-year-old rapper made his rap debut with the rest of Cali Swag District in 2010 with the single Teach Me How To Dougie.
“TMZ reported that Bone was possibly murdered by a ‘jealous man’, who threatened Talbert over Twitter,” quoted from MTV.com.
“It’s just Twitter”
There seems to be an uproar brewing among the Rihanna’s fans.
Robyn ‘Rihanna’ Fenty seems to have upset some of her fans earlier last week when she started following her ex-boyrfriend, singer Chris Brown on Twitter.
After Brown started following her last weekend the social network was abuzz with rumours of a reconciliation between the two. One fan questioned the songbird with the inquiry and was responded with “It’s ******* Twitter, not the alter!”
Rihanna later apologised for her abrasive answer.
Mistake worth over US$100 million
The peer-to-peer file sharing client programme, LimeWire closed last year, 10 years after its release in May of 2000.
The trial, which followed the closing of the P2P determined that LimeWire was found guilty of copyright infringement on a massive scale. LimeWire has, as retribution agreed on in court, been sentenced to pay $105 million to 13 separate recording companies.
The founder Mark Gorton was quoted saying: “I was wrong, I didn’t think our behaviour was inducing [copyright infringement]. I understand that a court has found otherwise.”
