Entertainment head honch for MoBay party
MONTEGO BAY, St James – JEFF Robinson, head of American-based My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) Entertainment, will be in attendance at the Minaj Vegas Beach Party at Sea Gardens Beach, along the Montego Bay hip strip on Friday, June 8.
The event is organised by First World Production .
“He has decided to come to Jamaica at his own expense because he believes that with his connection in California, he can get people to see what’s happening here in Jamaica,” said Loyal Haylett, a member of the production team which also includes John Swaby and Nicole Samuels.
According to Haylett, among the objectives of the production is the promotion of the resort city of Montego Bay as an entertainment hub.
” I want to combine the people I know there (US) with the wonderful people I know here (Jamaica) to say to my folks back in America all you have to do is board the plane come to Montego Bay and we have everything here: We have the infrastructure for you to shoot a movie, and a big five star kind of a party to have seminars, to shoot videos, and so on,” Haylett said.
“But moreover, I want to show that we have the support of Montego Bay to get the activities going back here and so Mr Jeff Robinson, the head of MBK Records, and the person who discovered Alicia Keys, has agreed to come aboard and be a part of this event”.
A feature of the party will be to chose to chose 12 girls in attendance to appear on Tequila Rose and Montego Bay Coconut Rum international calendars.
“And these girls will get their rights for the pictures,” Haylett guaranteed.
He revealed that music will be provided by DJ Kentucky, DJ Hypnotize, DJ King Pin, DJ Chaddy G and DJ Timeless.
Meanwhile, Yard Candy, Lipstick Girls, See Mi Yah Crew, and Fashion Show Dream Girls are groups of divas expected to be in attendance.
Lighting will be provided by John Swaby.
