C’Hall, Corinaldi meet in VMBS U-13 final

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Former winners Catherine Hall Primary and Corinaldi Avenue Primary will meet in the final of the St James FA VMBS Under-13 competition at the UDC field today.

The teams booked their places in the decider set to start at 11:30 am after 1-0 wins over defending champions Mt Salem Primary and first-time finalists Supreme Prep in last week’s semi-finals played at the same venue.

Substitute Alrick Barrett scored for Catherine Hall in the 58th minute of their game, at the end of a solo run, to end Mt Salem’s reign, while Shadane Hamilton also scored in the 58th for Corinaldi Avenue in their win.

Beaten semi-finalists Mt Salem and Supreme will face off for third place in the first game today, set to start at 10:00 am.
