Work together to solve financial woes

In the sphere of public finance, there is no economically defensiblealternative to an agreement with the IMF, without which there can be no door to other meaningful loans.
In view of the serious budgetary problems Jamaica is experiencing without the agreement, all our brothers and sisters in Parliament must work together. None should seek political mileage out of the delay in arriving at an agreement by attributing blame to either party.
By the way, Minister of Justice Mark Golding, has just announced that the cost of the Caribbean Court of Justice would be close to $1 billion. We sincerely hope those in Parliament who are asking for a referendum for the CCJ, should get their priorities correct and banish the thought of a referendum, which we cannot afford either now or anytime soon.
